Between 6 pm and 8 pm on every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, Checkpoint Freiburg offers anonymous rapid HIV testing. At these times, men who have sexual contacts with men can also get tested for syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhoea. All testing is done after a brief consultation and risk assessment.

CAUTION: This service tends to get very busy and we can only attend to a limited number of people! We apologise for the inconvenience.

As an alternative, between 6 pm and 8 pm on every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, Checkpoint Freiburg offers more-in-depth counselling for matters concerning sexual health as well as HIV and STI testing. The appointments are treated confidentially. During these counselling hours you can also obtain advice on PrEP and have your PrEP check-up.

All our staff members have received training and are subject to confidentiality obligations. Testing is offered in cooperation with the Freiburg municipal health department.
